Speech Class

Finding Inspiration for Informed Living

Speech skills are useless without knowledge, understanding, compassion, and scriptural application.  We must be aware of what is shaping our culture, our politics, our church life, and our family life.  We are Americans, therefore we must live in a way that demonstrates responsible voting that reflects our Christian worldview and prioritizes morality, safety, and the values that keep us liberated from tyranny.

High School Students...What do you know?

There are hundreds of news sources out there.  You need three.  Three news sources that you trust and that can provide a well-rounded overview of the week's news and important stories.  AT EQspeaks we think a Christian worldview matters.  Here are 4 suggestions that are conservative or Christian:

Do You Know These People & Their Stories?

The stories and videos here are examples of witnesses to the Christian faith. We do not necessarily agree to all statements made in these videos, yet we present them as examples of apologetics for the purpose of winning souls to Christ and overcoming the challenges of the world.

Would you give up your livelihood for your faith?

Would you capitulate in the face of a bully?

Would you risk your life to tell the TRUTH?

Are you willing to tell a friend when they embrace sinful ideologies?

What do you stand for and what may be the cost?

If you were asked questions to defend your Christian faith or your right to liberty, how would you answer?

1 Peter 3:14-15  " But even if you suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet, do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame."
